Erikson Institute Raising Illinois Racial Equity Toolkit

This project is one where Shanise collected data from others within the organization about the anti-racist work they were doing and she helped develop a survey and report about the use of the Raising Illinois Racial Equity Toolkit. She also helped develop solutions and next steps base on the research that she conducted.

Erikson Institute Black Futures Month Video Project

This video project was proposed by Shanise during a meeting for her internship with Erikson Institute. The assignment was to create a video of her team focusing on the realm of the early childhood experience, Black History Month, and Black futures using the element of storytelling.
